In December 2014, BSIET was recognized as Beijing Enterprise Technology Centre.
In June 2014, BSIET was verified as the Technical Research Center of Beijing Municipal Metallurgical 3D Simulation Design Engineering.
In October 2013, BSIET was recognized as a Key Hi-Tech Enterprise in National Torch Program.
In November 2011, BSIET was recognized as the National Hi-Tech Enterprise.
In March 2011, BSIET obtained certificate of the Engineering Design Integrated Qualification Class-A.
In November 2010, Shanxi Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. reorganized by BSIET.
In December 2009, Guizhou Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. reorganized by BSIET.
In February 2008, Beijing Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (BSIET) was reorganized.
In November 2003, Shougang Design Institute together with CMI in Belgium invested Beijing Cockerill Metallurgy Engineering Co. Ltd.
In September 2003, Shougang Design Institute together with Nippon Steel Corporation in Japan invested Beijing JC Energy & Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd.
In January 1996, Shougang Design Institute was reorganized as the Shougang wholly owned subsidiary with independent legal person qualification, the first in China to undertake general contract business.
In February 1973, Shougang Design Institute was founded from the Design Group and Beijing Metallurgical Design Company.
In December 1952, the Design Group of Shijingshan Iron and Steel Plant founded.
