Shougang International Engineering Technology Co. Ltd. is devoted to providing our clients with design, equipment integration and general contract service for all steel rolling projects such as wire rod, bar, section steel, medium and heavy plate, hot rolling strip, cold rolling strip as well as finishing treatment. It can provide the integrated solution for steel rolling process from raw material to product, including planning product based on your requirement, preparing rational and feasible production and technical route in accordance with the characteristics of the product, selecting reasonable technology, integrating advanced and reliable production equipment and control equipment, strictly controlling the project investment and providing users with technical services of highest performance-price ratio.
Adhering to the concept of “Precision design, quality service and client’s satisfactory”, BSIET has successively accomplished more than hundred design and general contract projects for steel rolling, obtained unique technical advantages and abundant experiences and possessed more than 30 prizes for technical progress and excellent projects awarded by the State, metallurgical industry and Beijing Municipality. Superior Technology
Wire rod mill
BSIET has maintained the leading position in China in the aspect of wire rod process, equipment and technology, possessing superior technology with independent intellectual property right for BSIET top-crossing 45° high-speed wire-rod finishing train, being able for complete independent design and equipment packaged supply of wire rod rolling mill. Since we already have a proven model whose max. designed speed is 113m/s and max. guaranteed speed is 90 m/s., we have now possessed the technical capability to make the max. guaranteed speed higher than 100m/s.
BSIET has sufficient performance references for wire rod mill project, especially in aspect of customized requirement, using different layout such as semi-continuous process, reentry layout, discontinuous rolling process and multi-line rolling to meet different requirement by customers for product, investment, space and output.

Bar project

Plate mill
BSIET has the capacity of independent design for <5,000mm medium and heavy plate mill production line and integration design capacity of >5,000mm mill. It successively completed the medium plate design of Xinyu Iron and Steel Group, and medium and heavy plate designs of Jingtang 3500mm and 4300mm. Due to its rich engineering experience, the company has better technical advantages in aspects of optimized shop layout, smooth process flow, less space occupation and investment as well as the supply of packaged equipment.
Plate heat treatment line effectively increased the property of the product
Roller disc cooling bed, independently developed, gives a uniform cooling, ensuring the product surface quality and property.
Hot Rolled Strip Project
BSIET has successively accomplished design works for Shougang 2250mm, 2160mm and 1580mm hot rolling mills, as well as Baogang 2250mm hot rolling mill, accumulated all-round experience in general design, process design, plant design, packaged equipment design and automation control system design of hot rolling line, and formed our special techniques especially in reduction of energy consumption, investment and construction period for hot rolling process.
Cold rolling strip and post-treatment project
BSIET has the ability to design comprehensive cold rolling workshop and various independent mill train and integration of production line. The company has accomplished successively the general planning design and feasibility study of Shougang Jingtang cold rolling mill and Shougang Shunyi cold rolling mill, the engineering design of Shougang Qiangang cold rolling mill, as well as design and supply of Qiangang pickling line, and has sufficient performance reference of pickling line, single stand reversible cold rolling mill, hot dip galvanizing mill, color coating line, as well as pickling and rolling combined mill.
Beijing Cockerill Metallurgy Engineering Co. Ltd (a joint venture invested by Belgium CMI (Cockerill Mechanical & Ingenierie S.A) and BSIET) has the ability to design and supply hot dip galvanizing and color coating lines, and is in leading position in China.
Comprehensive pipe network 3-D design and medium system management of steel rolling project
BSIET realized 3-D management of design and construction and increased design quality and construction efficiency by using 3-D comprehensive pipe network design technology and through synchronized design by common platform for multi-disciplines of civil structure, equipment layout, pipe network layout and cable layout. At the same time, using 3-D digital medium system management platform, production management, supervision and training by total computer network for drawing, component, spare parts and operational parameters can be realized, and provide basic data for future expert fault early warning and alarming system.
Intelligent conveying equipment
Heavy duty non-contact power supply conveying technology firstly developed and applied by BSIET and new energy intelligent coil conveying technology based on super capacitor power supply have been put into production and used, and they have advantages of power driven, energy conservation and environmental protection, flexible process, low cost, high intelligent level, etc.
